The dealer agreement between Prodana Seeds A/S and Svenningsens A/S has now become a reality. The two companies have joined forces and meet the golf courses with new strength.
The signing is now placed on one of the strongest cooperation agreements in modern times within machinery for the Danish golf world. Prodana Seeds A/S and Svenningsens A/S have chosen to expand the already existing cooperation and sign a partnership agreement. From January 2010 Prodana will be an exclusive dealer of Svenningsens golf machinery in Denmark and in the new partnership the tasks has been clearly defined. Prodana is responsible for sales, promotion, consulting services and demonstrations, while Svenningsens - as the importer – has the sovereign responsibility for machine import and after sales with service and spare parts.”The division gives us the possibility to develop our dealer strategies further in chosen areas of our wide product range,” says Benny Svenningsen, “we supplement each other and thus become a stronger player in the market”.
Combining main qualifications
Svenningsens Maskinforretning a-s - established 1861 - is a major machine sales company in the Scandinavian markets. The company also at its own workshops offers extensive services concerning maintenance and repair of machines. The products supplied to the markets are mainly machines and equipment for professional users within maintenance of roads, parks, sportsareas, golfcourses, churchyards, housing areas and similar. Svenningsens is, for instance through agencies, representing leading machine manufacturers – domestic as well as foreign manufacturers – in the whole Scandinavian market. Svenningsens has sales and service centres in both Kastrup and Skanderborg.
Prodana Seeds A/S is the leading supplier of grass seeds, fertiliser and special machinery for the Danish golf market and the entire green sector in Denmark. The main qualifications of the company range from consulting services and sale of products related to planning and care of all green areas. Prodana is a subsidiary company in DLF-TRIFOLIUM Group, the worlds largest grass seed manufacturer.
The combination of a fundamental knowledge of machinery and a long-time service within consulting and sale of high quality products makes the partnership agreement unique. ”Our consultants are experts regarding planning, care and maintenance of grass areas. Now we expand our already existing range of machinery with some of the worlds best machines for golf courses maintenance. The golf market is going through some hard times, where the competition is tough and the economical depression has curbed the wish for new investments.
